Painting, wallpaper and decoration
Then comes painting from 40 CZK/m² for white paint, or wallpapering, which starts from 150 CZK/m² for paper. In a kitchen we recommend washable finishes from 65 CZK/m². If you want one striking wall in a cottage or house, add a decorative skim coat from 650 CZK/m².
A cottage and weekend living
Cottages are often painted after or before the season, and that tends to be a one-off job. It helps if we know when the property is to be free and whether it has heating, because painting and drying depend on temperature. We agree the date and scope and state them in the quote.
Old wallpaper and washable paint
In older houses the walls sometimes have several layers of wallpaper or a washable coating that is hard to remove. Removal is from 50 CZK/m². After removal we clean the wall and judge whether priming is enough or skim coating from 150 CZK/m² is needed.
Kitchen and hallway
The hallway and the kitchen usually take the most wear. We recommend washable finishes from 65 CZK/m², which can be wiped. For a hallway you can also choose a darker shade from 70 CZK/m² if you want the room to feel cosy.

Yes, we paint family houses and cottages. In older properties wall preparation usually comes first: removing old paint from 50 CZK/m², filling from 80 CZK/m² and priming from 20 CZK/m². We estimate the extent during the visit, because the condition of the walls differs in older houses.
What should be done about recurring cracks or damp patches on a wall?
Painting alone will not remove the cause. That is why we first assess recurring cracks or patches on site. We fill small cracks from 80 CZK/m². If the cause lies elsewhere, for example in damp or movement in the masonry, we recommend what to deal with before painting, so you do not pay twice. Crack repairs are priced in the price list by extent.
