Panel-block flats and family houses in Líšeň

Líšeň is one of the largest districts of Brno, and you can tell from the housing. There is a large panel-block estate, beside it an older part with small family houses, and newer development. So there are many kinds of work. Panel flats are most often painted entirely, family houses in parts or during a renovation.

Painting a panel-block flat

A typical job is a whole flat: rooms, kitchen, hallway and bathroom, and ceilings if needed. As a guide, painting works out from 40 CZK/m² for white paint and from 50 CZK/m² for coloured shades and ceilings. For a larger flat, airless spraying from 35 CZK/m² pays off, as it speeds up the work if the flat is empty or thoroughly covered. Painting doors and radiators is from 500 CZK/pc.

A family house: more rooms and a staircase

In a family house, a staircase, hallways and ceilings in higher rooms are added to the painting. It pays to plan the work room by room so the house stays usable in the meantime. If you want to transform one room more lastingly, for the living room we offer decorative plaster from 650 CZK/m² and, for an industrial look, a concrete-effect skim coat from 1 200 CZK/m².

Minor repairs before painting

Before painting it is worth walking round the walls and noting cracks, chipped spots or stains from leaks. We include minor repairs in the preparation and list them separately in the quote, so you do not pay for more than necessary. If stains or cracks keep reappearing, we will advise what to do next, because painting alone will not remove them.

Doors, radiators and small jobs

After repainting, old doors or radiators look out of place. We paint doors and radiators from 500 CZK/pc and this can be combined with the painting in one job. Covering floors and furniture is charged from 15 CZK/m². The more jobs are combined, the less often the space has to be covered and cleaned.

What to prepare before you call

Estimate at least the number of rooms and their size, photograph the walls and tell us whether they have wallpaper or cracks. From that we can give a first estimate before we come.
