Decorative plaster and skim coats in Brno

Basic decorative skim coats start from 650 CZK/m², decorative paint finishes from 690 CZK/m². Marmorino starts from 1 700 CZK/m², Venetian plaster and marble effects from 1 800 CZK/m². These are “from” prices; the final amount depends on the condition of the wall, the number of coats and the area. Venetian plaster is a layered decorative plaster that imitates polished stone and gives a deep, slightly glossy surface. It is applied in several thin coats and smoothed at the end. With us it starts from 1 800 CZK/m². It suits a living room, hallway or bedroom. You can try the look in advance on a sample directly on your wall.

Both techniques are layered finishes that look like smooth stone. Venetian plaster tends to be bolder and glossier, while marmorino looks softer, with a pattern reminiscent of marble. The price difference is small: marmorino starts from 1 700 CZK/m², Venetian plaster from 1 800 CZK/m². We will advise which look suits your interior during the visit.

First we cover, clean and level the wall, then prime it. The decorative layers are applied gradually and each must dry before the next, so work on one room is not something that takes a single afternoon. We agree the schedule and number of days during the visit, depending on the technique and area. After the work we clean up and hand over a clean space.

Yes. Many people have the finish done on just one wall, for example behind the sofa, behind the television or behind the bed in the bedroom, and have the rest of the room painted. It creates a striking feature without making the space feel crowded. The price is calculated per area covered, so a single wall costs proportionally less than a whole room.

The result is different. Paint gives an even shade, plaster adds texture and depth. If you only want fresh walls, painting is enough, and it starts from 40 CZK/m². A decorative finish pays off where the wall is meant to be the centre of the room, for example in a living room or a hall. We will advise where it makes sense to invest and where it does not.
