Wallpaper can completely change a room, but only if it is hung well. In Brno and the surrounding area we take care over exact pattern matching, straight joins and a clean result without bubbles.
We hang paper, non-woven and vinyl wallpaper, photo murals and luxury specialty wallpaper in flats and houses in Brno and the surrounding area. Guide prices for hanging are from 150 CZK/m² for paper, from 180 CZK/m² for non-woven, from 200 CZK/m² for vinyl, from 250 CZK/m² for photo murals and from 350 CZK/m² for luxury and specialty wallpaper. This is the price of the work; the choice of wallpaper is up to you.
Wallpaper is only as good as the base under it. We remove old wallpaper from 50 CZK/m², fill minor unevenness and prime the wall. Only on a surface prepared like this do we hang the new wallpaper so that the pattern matches exactly and the joins are not visible. You can read more about preparation on the wall preparation page.
Wallpaper is often put on just one wall, for example behind the bed in a bedroom or in a living room, and the rest of the room is painted. Hanging paper wallpaper starts from 150 CZK/m², non-woven from 180 CZK/m², vinyl from 200 CZK/m², photo murals from 250 CZK/m² and luxury or specialty wallpaper from 350 CZK/m². This is the price for the work. Removing old wallpaper is charged separately from 50 CZK/m². We prepare an exact quote free of charge after a visit in Brno and the surrounding area.
Paper wallpaper is the simplest and cheapest to hang (from 150 CZK/m²). Non-woven (from 180 CZK/m²) is usually easier to hang and can later be taken down without much trouble. Vinyl (from 200 CZK/m²) has a surface that stands up better to wiping. We will advise during the visit which suits your room, according to the setting and the base.
We usually do not recommend it. Old wallpaper may peel off, or unevenness may show through the new one. It is safer to remove it, which costs from 50 CZK/m², and to repair and prime the wall. We will judge during the visit whether the existing wallpaper is firm and level and tell you what is worthwhile.
Hanging photo murals starts from 250 CZK/m². A photo mural needs the individual strips to be matched exactly so that the picture is not broken. It is also important that the base is smooth and clean. During the visit we measure the wall and calculate the price of the work, and if needed we look at the mural you have chosen.
We remove old wallpaper and loose paint, clean the wall, fill unevenness and prime it. Filling costs from 80 CZK/m², priming from 20 CZK/m², removing old wallpaper from 50 CZK/m². On a well-prepared wall the wallpaper hangs straight and the joins stay unobtrusive. We estimate the extent of preparation during the visit.
Yes, we hang luxury and specialty wallpaper from 350 CZK/m². With patterned wallpaper the exact matching of the pattern matters, so it is wise to allow for more material than the wall area suggests. We will advise during the visit how much wallpaper to buy, so you do not run short or end up with far too much.
It depends on the size of the room, the type of wallpaper, the condition of the walls and whether old wallpaper has to be removed. We can do one wall faster than a whole room, and with patterned wallpaper that has to match exactly the work takes longer. We give an estimate of the time during the visit and agree the date in advance. We clean up the space after the work.
