Painter in Brno: painting and decorative plaster
Looking for a painter in Brno? We paint flats and houses, do decorative plaster and concrete-effect skim coats, hang wallpaper and fit 3D panels and slats. You will know the guide price in advance from the price list, and you will get an exact quote after a free visit.
What we do in Brno
We work in Brno and the surrounding area as painters and craftsmen for decorative surfaces. People most often come to us when they want a flat painted, walls restored after a renovation, or a striking feature wall in the living room. Besides painting flats and houses we do decorative plaster, concrete-effect skim coats and travertine, wallpapering and fitting 3D panels and slats. Proper wall preparation belongs before each of these jobs.
A painter, or decorative plaster?
If you only want fresh walls, painting is enough. For white paint we charge from 40 CZK/m², for coloured shades from 50 CZK/m². If the wall is meant to be the focal point of the room, a decorative finish pays off: basic skim coats start from 650 CZK/m², Venetian plaster from 1 800 CZK/m². Paint gives an even shade, plaster adds texture and depth. All guide prices are in the price list.
How it works
You write or call, describe the space and send photos. We come for a survey, advise on the choice of finish and shade, and prepare a no-obligation quote. Before the work we cover floors and furniture, and afterwards we clean up. If you are unsure about the look, we make a sample directly on your wall.
What affects the price of a job
The price list shows “from” prices because the final amount changes with several things: the area of the walls, their condition, ceiling heights, the number of coats and the technique chosen. A flat with level walls that only needs painting will cost differently from an older flat where old wallpaper has to be removed and cracks filled. That is why we do not quote blindly. After the visit you receive an itemised breakdown and can see what is included and what is optional.
What we ask about during the visit
We want to know how large the space is, what condition the walls are in and how the room is lit, because light affects how both the shade and the texture look. We ask whether furniture will be moved and by when the job should be finished. If you have your own idea or inspiration from photos, bring it along and we will start from there.
Brno and the surrounding area
Besides the city itself, we work in the city districts of Královo Pole, Žabovřesky, Líšeň, Bystrc and Kohoutovice, and in villages and towns nearby, for example in Modřice, Kuřim or Šlapanice. On each location’s page you can see what we usually do there.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a painter cost in Brno?

The total depends on the area, the condition of the walls and the technique chosen. We prepare an exact quote free of charge after a visit, or a first estimate from photos.
Do you also do decorative plaster in Brno?
Yes. We do decorative plaster in flats and houses in Brno and the surrounding area: decorative skim coats from 650 CZK/m², marmorino from 1 700 CZK/m², Venetian plaster from 1 800 CZK/m². How do I arrange a visit and a quote?
Call, send an email or fill in the form on the Contact page and describe what you need. You can add photos of the space and approximate dimensions. We will come for a survey, advise on the choice of finish and shade, and prepare a no-obligation quote. The visit and the quote are free and commit you to nothing.
Can I send photos instead of a visit in person?
Yes, photos are enough for a first estimate, and if you also have the approximate dimensions of the rooms, the estimate will be more accurate. For the final price a visit is better, because the condition of the walls, unevenness and the base can only be seen in person and they greatly affect how much preparation is needed. The visit and the quote are free.
